Lost Poplar K-9 Training uses positive motivation and physical instruction combined with leash and collar correction techniques in the training process. Lost Poplar believes that using many training theories allows the the trainer to be more versatile in training of each dog, depending on it’s personality. Each dog learns differently, and some methods  do not work for all dogs.  Lost Poplar is committed to using the most effective and rewarding methods for your dog. We provide all the tools you will need for successful communication between your family and their furry friend.  We use a wide range of collars that are utilized depending on the family’s needs and the dog’s personality.  Collars, leashes, and training tabs are included with each of the training packages.  If the owner wishes to utilize an electronic collar, that may be purchased at the owner’s expense.  IACP # P-3699

Policies A fee of $100.00 will secure your dog’s reservation for a residency program. This fee is non-refundable, but will be applied to the balance of the remaining training costs. Lost Poplar requests two weeks (fourteen days) notice of any cancellation for a residency program. Private lessons require twenty-four hours notice for cancellation, or the lesson will be considered forfeited. Lost Poplar may request partial payment for residency programs, upon arrival of the dog to Lost Poplar K-9 Training. Lost Poplar offers unlimited follow-up lessons, if the owner cooperates fully with the training sessions, for a twelve month period following the training, to ensure customer satisfaction. If training time needs to be extended to ensure client satisfaction, Lost Poplar will accept the dog for the additional time, with no additional cost to the owner. If the owner of the dog requires the dog to stay beyond the package time allotted, the owner will incur boarding costs for each day of residency. Damage caused to Lost Poplar facilities outside of normal wear and tear, by any residency dog is the the responsibility of the owner. Drop off and pick-up times are scheduled at a mutually agreed upon time block of 1/2 hour. Late fee for drop-off and pick-up is $25. Check out time for boarding dogs is 3PM. Late check out will be charged $25 fee.
